This place is very popular. Because it's cheap, there's a decent supply of hot young dudes. Also, the outdoor pool is very cool for London: warm even in winter! There is also a smaller indoor pool, gym and sauna. This is a very cruisy place. It will hit you instantly. Homoeroticism is everywhere. It costs about ?2 to get in. Where exactly

Closest Tube is Tottenham Ct. Rd (3min), but very close to Covent Garden, Holborn (5min); Goodge St., Russell Sq. (10min). Cross street: Shaftesbury Ave./Endell St.

Cruisiest spot: Towards the middle of the changing room. Don't know about the rest of the centre (eg. gym, sauna), but have been told there is plenty of action there too. This is probably the most active gay gym in London.

When to go

Monday to Friday 6:30am - 10:00pm Saturday and Sunday 9:30am - 6:00pm Best times: Busiest lunchtimes, or from early evening, as people finish work -then keeps busy till closing time. Probably peaks around 7pm.

Etiquette

Have heard guys getting off in the changing room toilets. Maintain eye contact, smile & maybe start conversation. This could lead to a quick shag, or a drink outside and maybe an invitation to have at a guy's place. Guys also check each other out when resting in the pool end.

Nudity: Yes / Nudity in showers, visible to all. Plenty of eye-contact & quick side glances..

Safety

The changing rooms stink; it needs refurbishing! Also, guys can often seem pretentious and stuck-up. If you choose to swim, you better swim fast and hard: the pool is busy, and people sometimes swim with aggro!
