Finsbury Park
Large North London Park -- has a boating lake and a running track. Cottage in centre of park by boating lake. Update: Take the Piccadilly Line to Finsbury Park station or Manor House station. At the Finsbury Park end, there is a nature trail called Parkland walk. It is extremely cruisy and very friendly during the day, but at night talk to your trade and don't take your wallet. At the Manor House end, there is the enclosed 'ex-horticultural centre', where there is sunbathing action during the day and hot action at night if the gates are open. There is also the cottage outside Manor House station. *UPDATE August 2002: closed for several months now, wicked fencing. Has the cruising moved somewhere nearby?* A cruiser notes that there is activity near the cricket ground, late nights and also by the bus stop.

Etiquette
In the numerous clumps of bushes and trees dotted around the park. Although really cruisy past the cafe and down by the railway lines -- you can hear the trains -- walk towards the nois!

Keep an eye open for the park keepers. They know what happens here -- I think they do a token gesture circuit of the park anyhow -- usually just before closing up.
