Nice swimming hole. Lots of privacy despite there being a ranger station here. Great place to go lay out naked and catch some rays.

The guide

Where exactly

From gorham, head south on Rt 16 for approx 4 miles. You will come up to the ranger station on the right. Park on the left side of the kiosk. There is a trail that leads into the woods. Walk down path and you will come to the Peabody River in about a minute or two.

When to go

Warm weather, 6 am til.......

Etiquette

I hooked up with two guys here once while camping here. I have had a few encounters since.

Nudity: As long as your discrete you can get naked, just remember there is a ranger station in the parking lot, though they rarely come out there.

Safety

great place, lots of woods, trails and places to have fun. Crystal clear water, nice big rocks to sunbathe on.
