Sadly for some, and fortunately for others, this is really just for students with access to the library. There are 4 stalls and 4 urinals. Enough space under the divisions to your neighbor's under the stalls. The cracks in the door allow for a quick peeping into the stalls when you are peeing at the urinals. The door is far and loud enough to wrap it up when someone gets in. The restrooms at the other levels have 2 stalls and urinals each and also allow enough time to keep it discrete.

The two basement floors of the library are opened 24/7.

Students. Some old men, who knows how they get access.

The guide

Where exactly

You need to swipe your NYU card to get in, or get a permission at the front desk (policies of access are very strict.) Cross street: La Guardia

Cruisiest spot: The restrooms at the basement called "Lower Level 2" (LL2 or B in the elevators.)

When to go

The two basement floors of the library are opened 24/7. Best times: Afternoons and evenings, but any time is possible.

Etiquette

If you make contact, you can go to a restroom at the upper levels for a more "private" time! Some of the students actually exchange pics and set a meeting place through internet to avoid losing time and to make it more discrete. Bring your laptop and Wi-Fi card! If you're a cute student, don't be shy and join the action! You can't get a better study break!

Safety

A few weirdos. Once an old guy was standing pants down the door of his opened, and talking dirty out loud! That's bad. PLEASE keep it discrete! The place is not really surveilled now. But if you wipe it out in front of any straight jock that just wants to use the toilets, they'll complain and then the place will be surveilled or shut down (it happened at other universities.) Don't get two in a .
