Where exactly
it is about 20 minutes with no traffic on I-4 from the hotels by the convention center/universal/sea world etc... and worth the trip! Cross street: nerest cross road Lee Rd.

I went to Hank's Friday night and arrived around 11pm. There weren't as many guys there as I remember from when I used to go ever few weeks back 2 years ago. There was virtually no one there under 30, so after waiting around and drinking (although the beers are pretty cheap) I went down to the Parliament House to close the evening, and ended up checking into a hotel room there with a cute 19yr old boy I met playing pool in the back bar. If I come back to Orlando, I'll be around for a few drinks, but will most likely spend my time at the PH.

I used to come to Hank's every other weekend when I lived in Tampa. Moved to San Francisco, but will be back in the area next weekend 6/12-6/14. I am hoping to make it from Tampa over there Friday night...should be fun. In all my traveling so far, I've never found a bar as much fun as Hank's. Plus the beer is DIRT cheap. I'll be the cute 23yr old blonde boy outside on my knees...make sure to say hi ;-)

Just got back from 3 days at The Parliament House and have to say - I had ALOT more fun here at Hank's than I did at Parliament House. And the beer here is cheap. Actually had more fun on Thurs and Friday nights than I did on Saturday. I certainly recommend Hank's to anyone that enjoys a little fun outside. Will definitely be back.

Hanks is always a great spot. Whether you're looking to feed or be fed. Expect others to want to join. That's the kind of place it is, after all. If you're looking for glamour and attitude...go back to the disco. I'll be back there again tonight. I'm sure it will be fun!

I was in Orlando this past week, and visited Hank's every day and night. Everyone was friendly and nice. There was a lot of action going on. I will definitely visit there each time I am in the Orlando area.

Two things _ First thing..... The Door is back up. Keep it in the bart and forget playing in the parking lot and we won't have to deal with this shist againt!!!. All thanks & praise to the God & Goddess.....So mote is be.... Until 1 more week from the date of this posting.... Billy is back in town and is barkeeping for thisd timeframe. His hours ARE different fome what he was working, before he had left. Thusday night, 12/18 is his last nigh/tday,depending on the shift he's working...... Ao, get im while's he's here..... And tip all of the barkeeps as much as you can. Kweep the majority of the stuff in the back patio and tip your barkewep (and the securiety guys, because they help to keep you safe!!!! Top2Bottom42

In reference to the 'arrest' mentioned below...The person was arrested for violating probation. The cops knew he was there because someone who knew him snitched on him and the cops went in, grabbed the person they were looking for and left. They did not bother any of the other patrons. Hanks is a safe place to have any kind of fun you are into. The cops do not mess with anyone. If they come (and its extremely rare that they do) it is for a specific person or reason and everyone else is left alone. They do not 'raid' the place. Ive been going there for over 5 years and it has never been 'raided'

For the record, there were no arrests (at least inside the Bar Grounds, might have been a few in the Parking lot... ). Someone complained to the cops, and they had to come in and check it out. Again, no one was arrested!! Now, with that in mind, because a complaint was registered, all of the licensing authorities (I understand that there are 8 total for Hank's), now also have to come and do an inspection. As there is NO WARNING as to when that might happen, the door to the bathroom will remain off. And there is no telling as to how long it will take all 8 of the licensing authorities to get out there and check it out. From what I understand, then it will be "safe" for them to reinstall the bathroom door. But we will have to wait for the people ho need to come out have done what is needed. The timing sucks, as the bathroom is the only real action, wen it gets cold like this.

I was there today and the door is still off the bathroom and everyone seemed on edge. Started talking to a guy who said that the cops were there 3 weeks ago and made some arrests. He didnt have any other info. He said that the bartender had told him that.
