This is a "fun" bar with an interesting mix of people. Straight, gay, transgendered. The facility is older, but clearly a comfortable place for the community it serves.

Where exactly

Walk on the Promenade sidewalk across from the water. It is on Rue des Ecoles. Look for a triangular building with prominant steps set slightly back from the street. The bar is to the right side, if you are facing the steps. Cross street: Prominade

Cruisiest spot: Seems to be anywhere.

When to go

Closed Sunday-Tuesday. Open Wednesday - Saturday from 10pm. Best times: After midnight things get going.

Etiquette

Be aggressive. And speaking some French will help. Not necessary, but makes things easier.

Nudity: No on premises

Safety

The price of drinks. Beer is about US$11. Admission on weekends for the show is about $17, but includes a drink./
