The guide

Where exactly

I-80 East or West to the Pinole Valley Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp, make a left if you were traveling east and a right if you were traveling west. Pinole Valley Road becomes Tennent Ave. Follow Tennent past San Pablo Ave and bear left over the railroad tracks into the parking lot.

When to go

The park is filled with hikers and dog walkers during daytimes, but after dusk the park is abandoned and the scene picks up.
