Part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park.
Crowd
Lots of hikers, bikers, etc...and a few pesky very very old trolls.

The guide

Where exactly

From American Legion Bridge on beltway, take Clara Barton Parkway towards Great Falls National Park. Take the first exit at the Naval Surface War complex...take a left at the top of the ramp goes directly into park. Cross street: Clara Barton Parkway

Cruisiest spot: First bathroom when entering the park...take a right at the only stop sign in the park and it is on your immediate left.

When to go

Part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park. It is open from daylight til dark Best times: mid-day through early evening

Etiquette

Hookup in bathroom. Can hear anyone coming very easily. Plenty of recovery time.

Safety

Not busy enough. Obviously the park rangers know what is going on...be discreet...even if others around you aren't (see old man comment above). Families, picnicers, hikers do use the facilities for legitimate purposes...be respectful and sensible.
