Quiet, pretty rest area just east of the Lewiston exit off I-90, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Standard issue restroom facilities and picnic tables/picnic shelters, and a trail that leads down behind the building to an isolated, discreet overlook. Hook up either in the stalls or down by the overlook, or make an appointment. Can be hit or miss.
Crowd: Truckers, travelers and locals.

Rest area is 25 miles east of Rochester and about 20 miles southwest of Winona on I-90 East. Rest area is only accessible heading east.
Cross street: 1 mile east of Lewiston/Rt. 29 exit
  • Crowd:Truckers, travelers and locals.
  • Hours:Open 24hrs.
    Best times: Varies, tends to be slow most times, but better rest room action after the attendant leaves, around 1:00 am.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Some dudes leave/carve notes on the walls of 1 (closest to door) or sometimes drill peepholes between s 1 and 2, and between 1 and the urinals, although the attendant regularly bolts them up. Sometimes hanging out at the overlook and being mindful of the right signs can lead to some action.
    Cruisiest Spots: Men's room: first and second s; overloook area behind the restroom facility.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Sometimes too quiet, can wait a long time for nothing; Aggressive anti-cruising attendant can monitor times and actively bolts up peepholes, although doesn't venture down to the overlook area.
    Warnings: As with any public place, be discreet and cautious, especially in the men's room, as the attendant can be aggressively anti-cruising. If playing down at the overlook, keep on eye out for others (non-cruisers) and be prepared to zip it up, or in the summer, take it behind the leaves into the woods.
