Rt 45 rest area past Woodward

This is a rest area, nice and quiet, plenty of woods, 2 pavillions ( the one by the rest rooms in the back has a fire place. Thats the cruisy spot.), plenty of picnic tables, go behind 2nd pavillion and do it or take a walk.

Varies, but I had luck lunch time to 2pm and 4-6 pm.
Watch out
Rareley see a park ranger, usually in morning.

Take Rt 45 east from State College go past Woodward.

When to go

Varies, but I had luck lunch time to 2pm and 4-6 pm.
