A gay beach at Playa los Tusales some miles South of Alicante is worth a visit if you have a car. The gay area has a smattering of "straights" who do not know better or perhaps they do!

The guide

Where exactly

Go along coast road past Santa Pola thru the salt flats (note the flamingos!) and take a turning on the right to La Marina. Follow down to the round-about and under the road. Go thru La Marina and look for a garden centre on the right called "Viveros Victor", then turn left just after a Restaurant and Camping Site (the turning is easy to miss). Following lane to bottom and park car. Turn right along beach for about 200 yards where you will see a large deadish palm on the top of the dunes.

Cruisiest spot: Action in the huge area of scrubland and dunes at back.

When to go
Etiquette

After lunch, get yourself a place in the shade and watch the "parade". Don't kill yourself wandering around in the hot sun - let "it" come to you!!
