Where exactly
C street and Dimond heading toward mountains, make a u turn at Kings street and go back down to C street and the street just before C St. turn in and go to the end of the street to the parking lot
When to go
between 10 a.m. and noon or 1ish are best, but some action afternoons also depending on how many people are using the parking lot.

Etiquette
All sorts of guys do it. Parked cars with guys in them. Pull next to one and see if the guy is interested. Usually someone will give a nod showing interest. Walk down the trails and if someone follows, they are probably interested. Take a detour into the woods in summer. Can be lots of fun!
Nudity: Probably nudity would not be recommended.
Safety
Skateboarders use the skateboard park, but are away from the parking lot. Easy to see if Muni/cop cars are coming down the road. Plenty of time to look like nothing is happening.

Things are happening here and on the other side of the lake! Fun!!

Try to hit this place around noon most days. It can be very hot if everything is good (no school picnics, no large groups of people, not a bunch of skateboarders etc) Walking down the path toward the lake is good with nice wooded areas to veer off for play!!
