how is this place? not just as a crusing place, but as a hostel? is it dirty? is it clothing optional?

This is no longer a gay guest house. It's now a co-ed dorm much like a hostel for young people - packbackers.......

The Deauville is a gay youth hostel walking distance from the Gay Beach on A1A. Anything goes as long as discretion is used and you don't bother an unwilling participant

I don't think this is still a gay resort. i'm not sure but there are indications that they have left the fold.
