Great strip of beach with a strip of forest/bush then a large paddock area. Very isolated place.

Weekday mornings 10am - 1pm for tradies. Early afternoons on weekends

The guide

Where exactly

Hervey Bay - Burrum Heads Rd. Right to Dundowran Beach carpark. Down steps then right for about 1+km. Great spots amongst the trees.

Cruisiest spot: After first tree on the beach there is a cosy area in the bush.*br*Furthere along where trees grow on the beach as well.

When to go

Weekday mornings 10am - 1pm for tradies. Early afternoons on weekends

Etiquette

Strip off while walking the beach ( but cover up if you see couples or oldies taking a walk).

Nudity: Yes / Dont push your luck. Wait until you are at least past the first "beach" tree. Then cover up if you see oldies/couples taking themselves or their dogs for a walk.

Safety

Dont strip off or do anything around the step area. Families do use that part of the beach. They generally do not go to far from the steps but if you see them taking a walk please cover up. We do not want complaints as there was about a year or so ago.
