The river is warm enough to swim in and shallow enough to stand on the bottom. Soft sand on the shore, the river bottom and sandbars. Nude sunbathing is common.

The guide

Where exactly

Drive out of the city south on Lorne Avenue. Follow the signs and park in the free parking lot. Walk about twenty minutes south on the shore of the river, past all the 'regular' beaches till you reach a nudist bank.

Cruisiest spot: Gay nude men all over and a lot of activity in the bushes of the shore. You cannot miss it, it is so obvious!

When to go

Summer months (June to September) in the daytime.

Etiquette

Walk around the bushes naked and smile if you see someone you like.

Nudity: Yes / Nudity is commonplace.

Safety

No police, no interruptions, other than mosquitoes. The water level can be high and current strong after heavy rain. Inexperienced swimmers should remain on the bank until the current subsides.

Yup - the sandbar IS huge. The water level is low - way down from last year. Tons of sand. Pick a nice warm day!

wanna check it out this week end and get some tanning done and maybe some outdoor fun to so if ya see me drag me into a remote spot and see what happens
