A cruiser clears things up 5/21/2009:The cruising area in Bentall IV is the washroom attached to their food court. In the corner of the food court (the off street entrance to the food court is down the stairs on Dunsmuir in the middle of the block) right next to the sushi take out restaurant, there is a doorway leading to a long hallway, at the end of which is the washroom where the cruising action takes place. Inside the can, you can hear people walking down the outside corridor. There are also two sets of doors to the washroom, so there is lots of recovery time if someone is approaching. All other information is the same between the cruising areas in Bentall I/II and Bentall IV.

Just for info, although action takes place in both washrooms and cruisers go back and forth between the two (depending how busy one is or if they don't like what they see), the can in Bentall IV is a much busier cruising area

Bathroom across from Jewelery store in lower area near lower food court. Door in corner - just looks like hall entrance, but leads to excellent washroom. Lots of warning. Most of the action takes place in the toilet s only; guys are sometimes waiting their turn outside the s. Have seen guys lying on the floor with their legs sticking out from under the doors. Reaction time to someone walking in is very short -- not much warning.

Lotsa buses end here, skytrain station as well (students). Burrard between Dunsmuir and Pender St, Below street level. Connecting office towers with underground mall.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Security cameras in the hallways leading up to the washroom.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Bentall has a security force but I've never seen them in the washrooms. I'm told they do check in once in a while.
    Warnings: Editor: A cruise fan writes: "I've been to this washroom quite frequently and have actually seen the cops outside the washroom door and confronting one guy outside the asking him what he was doing there. I've also seen security come in.

  • LOL i used to be security for the building a while ago and i wished i could have enjoyed what goes on but i couldn't. wouldn't mind trying the cruise thing but im a shy guy and more for camming before hooking up
